The Proximal Femoral Nail Antirotation System is a high-performance intramedullary nail system specifically indicated for trochanteric fractures, femoral neck fractures, femoral shaft fractures, and osteoporotic fractures in the proximal femur.
This comprehensive system consists of cannulated interlocking nails, cannulated blades, cannulated end caps, and locking screws. The helical blade screw provides the medial fracture segment with excellent resistance to varus collapse and superior rotational control while reducing the need for extensive bone removal. These features make it exceptionally suitable for osteoporotic fracture fixation.
The Titanium Proximal Femoral Nail Anti-Rotation (PFNA) System permits an intramedullary approach for the precise fixation of femur fractures. All implants within the PFNA System are manufactured from medical-grade titanium alloy to ensure biocompatibility and strength.
